I have used this cleanser many times and find it removes make-up nicely and moisturizes my skin while cleansing and is not heavy. It is a great cleanser!
Did you find this review helpful?
This is a very nice cleanser!
Easy to use and liked the creamy application. Did not irritate my skin.
Did not notice any exfoliation. Did an average job at cleansing.
I'm at the end of my first bottle. It is a good specialty cleanser with a creamy texture that works as a cleanser and exfoliator. When I first got it, I loved the results after the first use, but after 2-3 days of nightly use, it was too much for my skin. Now I use this every 2 or 3 nights, and switch off with the Daily Microfoliant. I like the tall cylindrical pump bottle because it is hygienic and easy to keep hold of in the shower. While I don't enjoy the smell of this product (a combo of sour milk and roses) it doesn't prevent me from happily using it. It definitely was a shocker the first time I used it but it worked so nicely that I kept on using it. I don't mind the scent now and will likely repurchase after working through some of my other exfoliating products I have on the shelf.
I have had some adverse reactions to skincare products, but haven't had any reactions to the 10 Dermalogica products I've tried so far.
I have very deep, stubborn dermal melasma so I have to be careful what I use on my skin. Anything too rough can contribute to making it worst (i.e. darker and more extensive). I rotate this cleanser with plain jane Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser and Neova Herbal Wash to avoid aggravating my condition. That said, I use Age Smart about every third night with my Clarisonic. Although it is not marketed for melasma, it makes my skin softer and more toned overall. With such a stubborn and emotionally painful condition, sometimes that is the best you can ask for.
This cleanser is what I swear by. Leaves no makeup residue behind. I tried a couple of cleansers, but I keep coming back to this one.
I am so pleased with this cleanser. It does not dry out your skin, and leaves it feeling clean and smooth. Strongly recommend it!
I LOVE this cleanser. I was skeptical when it came out of the pump so thick and creamy. But, it makes skin so smooth, soft - so perfectly prepped for your skincare and to make your make-up go on so smoothly. I use this cleanser with my Sonicare brush and my pores look smaller and skin smoother. I think this cleanser would work for all types of skin - but I have slightly oily, tends to get clogged pores and I'm 35. I do use a plain gel cleanser to get my eye make-up off though.
